Animal habitats
Thank you to the parents of Janice and Aaron for your tremendous diaramas. I'm sure the wild animals and the parrot would be very happy in their habitats. The video below should give you some ideas if you are working on your models at home over the weekend. Please could you bring them in to school on Tuesday and remember that there is no school on Monday.
Spellings are in handbooks and Maths and English homework is on Education City. Have a great weekend and thank you for your continued support.

Homework - 10.01.14
Dear
Parents,
We
have two weeks left of our Sharing the Plant Unit of Inquiry about
animals. For one of our summative assessments the children need to choose one animal and
create a suitable home for that animal.
This can be completed using a shoe box, clay, paper, or anything else
you want to use in the home. Their model should show their understanding of
animal care, feeding and bedding.
The students will be creating this at home over the
next 10 days. Please can they bring their work into school by
Tuesday 21st January. They will then be sharing their work in
class.
Thank you,
Mr Richardson

Sharing the Planet
In 1A we have been talking about the central idea that 'animals have a place in our world and people can care for them in many ways'. We thought of any animal songs that we knew and Isabella said that her favourite was 'What does the fox say?'. We all enjoyed singing along with the song so much that I have posted it to the blog. Enjoy!
