Earth Hour - Saturday 29th March - 8.30pm -9.30pm
Earth hour is on Saturday 29th March from 8.30pm to 9.30pm. Hong Kong has been celebrating Earth Hour since 2009 and every year, dozens of iconic buildings and landmarks go dark.
Last year 2.8 million people in Hong Kong participated in the lights-off event. In 1A we have been talking about the reasons people celebrate Earth hour and the kind of things that we can do to look after our planet. The children were very knowledgeable about the types of things that they can do to conserve energy and look after their environment.

The Run of Hope
Dear parents and students,
Last Friday’s Run of Hope was a huge success! All of the classes participated and the students showed great determination by running as far as they could to raise money for cancer. Thank you so much to all parents, students, and teachers who made donations and pledges. Your support and generosity were overwhelming and as a result, we managed to raise the unbelievable grand total of $41,414! All of the money raised is being donated to the Children’s Cancer Foundation in Hong Kong. This organization helps children with cancer and their families to receive proper medical treatment, rehabilitation services and counselling as well as provides social and recreational programs for patients and their families. Thank you again for all your support. It is much appreciated!
